Rusalka: Mesícku na nebi hlubokém (Song to the Moon) by Dvořák - Katrin Helena Kuslap (Soprano)
Rusalka's Song to the Moon by Dvořák Soprano: Katrin Helena Kuslap Piano: Ulrich Stærk Translation in English: Moon high and deep in the sky Your light travels far, You travel around the wide world, and see into people’s homes. Moon, stand still a little while and tell me where is my dear. Tell him, silvery moon, that I am embracing him. For at last momentarily Let him recall dreaming of me. Illuminate him from far away and tell him, tell him who is waiting for him. If his human soul is really dreaming of me, may the memory awaken him! Moon, don’t disappear, don’t disappear! Moon, don’t disappear! Recorded in Copenhagen June 2024

Changing Light by Kaija Saariaho, Katrin Helena Kuslap & Olga Melby Larsson
Katrin Helena Kuslap - soprano Olga Melby Larsson - violin Recorded in 20.11.2024 at the Conservatory Concert Hall in Copenhagen Light and darkness, night and day. We marvel at the mystery of the stars. Moon and sky, sand and sea. We marvel at the mystery of the sun. Twilight, high noon, dusk and dawn. Though we are mortal, we are Creation’s crown. Flesh and bone, steel and stone. We dwell in fragile, temporary shelters. Grant steadfast love, compassion, grace. Sustain us, Lord; our origin is dust. Splendor, mercy, majesty, love endure. We are but little lower than the angels. Resplendent skies, sunset, sunrise. The grandeur of Creation lifts our lives. Evening darkness, morning dawn. Renew our lives as You renew all time.
